This is who God says that you are!

In the following the reader will find biblical verses that have been paraphrased into the first person as identity statements.  As mentioned in the last section, these are the statements that we will use to transform our identity.  Using the creative power of our voice while controlling our thought life, we will declare these statements over ourselves until transformation takes place. (Please review the last section on “the solution.”)  If  who you think you are is not described in this section, there is a problem.  It exist between who you think you are and who God declares that you are.  This is what needs remedy if we are to walk in the identity that God has predestined us to obtain.  Many will print this page out and place on the refrigerator, the bathroom mirror, in the car (I had them taped to my rear-view mirror), or anywhere where they are readily accessible and can be read and re-viewed as often as needed.  As you read them, become who you were “born-again” to be.

I am free from condemnation.
(There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death.
Romans 8:1-2)

I am assured that all things work together for my good.
(And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to [His] purpose.
Romans 8:28)

– God is on my side, He will give me all things, He justifies me, and Jesus Christ makes intersession for me.  I am free from any condemning charges against me.

(If God [is] for us, who [can be] against us? [32] He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things? [33] Who shall bring a charge against God’s elect? [It is] God who justifies. [34] Who [is] he who condemns? [It is] Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us.Romans 8:31-34)

– NOTHING can separate me from Gods love.  I cannot be separated from His love.
(Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? [Shall] tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? [36] As it is written: “For Your sake we are killed all day long; We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.” [37] Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. [38] For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, [39] nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:35-39)

– I have been established, anointed, and sealed by God.
(Now He who establishes us with you in Christ and has anointed us [is] God, [22] who also has sealed us and given us the Spirit in our hearts as a guarantee.  2 Cor 1:21-22)

– I abide in Jesus and I am a branch of the true vine, Jesus, and I will bear much fruit
(“I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. [2] Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away;* and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit. [3] You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you. [4] Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me. [5] “I am the vine, you [are] the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. John 15:1, 5)

– I have been reconciled to God and I am a minister of reconciliation for God.
